Evan works for the city as a mechanic with Star Tran and I stay home with my babes, have a small photography business and have recently fallen in love with makeup and skincare, as in i adore it!!  This is my 6th year in MOPS and third year as a FGL. Every year in MOPS seems to be better than the previous so i can’t even wait to see what God teaches all of us coming up!!

My husband Ted and I have been married for 9 years and have two sweet kiddos, Matthew (7 ¾) and Michaela (20 months). I am an Oregon girl whom came out to Nebraska for graduate school and met a Nebraska boy. I work almost full-time as a self-employed Mental Health Therapist. As a family we spend a lot of time outdoors, swimming, exploring, and getting dirty! When I get alone time I enjoy reading, crafting, and catching up with friends. This mom gig is the hardest job I have ever had. I started attending MOPS when Michaela was just a couple months old when I realized that I didn’t have the friend group I needed to survive! I found friendship, encouragement, laughter and a place to shed my tears amongst the other moms here at MOPS. I am thankful for MOPS and hope you will find your place and freedom this year.

I am a new mommy this year!!! My little girl, Jenna Jo, is 4 months old and I have been married for 4 years! Wow! How time has passed! I moved to Lincoln 2 years ago with my husband Zach from Scottsbluff, Nebraska. We both attended and met in college at Chadron State College and now I am on the awesome adventure of being a stay at home mommy while Zach attends dental school here in Lincoln. While being here in Lincoln, I have been experiencing what it’s like not having any family support system! It is an awesome blessing to see God work on my little family as we embark on our life journey relying completely on each other. I am so excited to create new friendships with like-minded, loving mamas this year in MOPS! Lets have some fun!

I’m a small town Western Kansas girl, second oldest of 13 children, who left home at the age of 18 to explore a big wild world, crisscrossing states and international boarders.  My God given talents in sports helped fuel my educational pursuits as I journeyed, and I found myself completing a doctorate in human resources & workforce management with an international emphasis while working with the Arkansas Razorback football team. In the romantic atmosphere of turf and sweat, an injured offensive lineman brought my husband and I together. After enduring 2 years of dating long distance, while I was living in South Korea and he worked for the Buffalo Bills, we flew to the Dominican Republic 6 years ago to elope, emailing our family to say we would see them all after the honeymoon. Three states, 2 toddlers & a new baby later we are enjoying life in Lincoln, Nebraska and looking forward to all the blessings yet to come on this amazing adventure of life.
