Another resource idea from Shelley Jaquez:   Several people were interested in getting more information about the kids Bible stories that are available as audio reenactments. They can go to either or to play some of these half hour stories for free. These sites also allow you to buy full volumes or individual stories on CD or in MP3 format. They also have some riveting historical stories that are awesome for home schoolers as well as some other helpful parenting resources.
P.S. My big encouragement is to find ONE book, rather than going all out, then burning out.  For whatever reason,  I decided we should do a daily reading both at breakfast and dinner.  Since our life is hectic, we are often reading several at a time.  (The entries are dated, so we need to “keep up.”)  Next year I think I am going to stick with ONE great idea!
