While we are unable to let you know about every event that is happening in the Lincoln area, there will be certain events that we cannot let pass by without mentioning. This is the inagural year for a race that Bryan LGH is sponsoring to make people aware of the fight against depression. On Sunday October 9th there will be a fun run for kids, and then a 5K or 10K run for the grown-ups. This event is named in honor of the memory of Adam Zetterman, a man who tragically died while fighting this disease. (Adam’s sister Amy attends our MOPs group). Having a strong MOPS turnout at the event would be encouraging to Amy and her family. Even if you are unable to attend, please consider going to this link to learn more about Adam and the fight against depression.
(My whole family was planning on attending until I realized that our long-awaited vacation was planned during that time. So, please run hard for me!)
