MSPI cookbook

As you may now, we try to hard not to endorse products at First E-Free Mops.  But there are some great products out there, so occasionally we may make you aware of different possibilities.  Since many moms in our group have struggled with babies that have needed to be on a MSPI diet, we decided to make you aware of a new cookbook that may be beneficial for you.  Here is the details …

(Have you had a chance to start reading books with your 6-month-old or 12-month old? Many pediatricians recommend starting to read books with your child at 6 months of age.  The nurturing and on-on-one attention from parents while reading aloud encourages the child to form a positive association with books – this is true even if your 8-month-old would rather just chew on the book!  For those children who have a short attention span, pointing at the pictures and naming items, helps with language development too.   Children who live in print-rich environments and who are read to during the first years of life are much more likely to learn to read on schedule.)
Complete Children’s Health has partenered with Reach Out and Read since 2007, so that we can hand out books at well visits.  In order to help raise funds to purchase the books that go home wth the young children, we are selling a cookbook.  We have included a section on the Milk-Soy-Protein free diet, and all of artwork is done by children.  Each cookbook costs $10.  If you are interested in purchasing one, please call Rachel at 402-304-1083 or stop by Complete Children’s Health at 8201 Northwoods Drive, Lincoln (corner of 84th and Holdredge).
